SAfAIDS Book Sprint for our Young Leaders Academy has begun!

What an AMAZING day! We worked 8.30am to 8.30pm on Monday visioning the new training manual for SAfAIDS Youth Leadership Academy being launched to celebrate 20 years of Information Excellence and take our work with Young Women Leaders to a whole new level.

We have agreed the new contents page and the new subject list and the training is looking exciting already!

• We are deepening the sections on leadership with power, ethics and communication and lining them up more clearly with discussion and understanding of gender and culture. 
• We are ramping up grooming, etiquette and deportment with networking and events and social media.
• We have introduced e-learning courses between modules.
• Financial literacy, budgeting, research and documentation remain key. 
• We have strengthened the mentoring and placement support and brought in sections that talk deeply to career choice, personal growth and development.
